Rasma Says

Musings, deliberations, flashes of unaccounted for brilliance…

Out of Reach

Out of Reach

I get numb on certain mornings
or dazed dumbstruck
stuck looking out the window
in one suspended extended
moment of no-thought.

It happens often
when I am going to write
as if everything
I was going to write
is contained there in a bubble
plump dense wordless
not empty
is there
out of the reach
of words.

I should have been a painter
except I can’t paint
words have been my tools
and a camera
thin and small
the one
big and housing an empty room
the other.

If I didn’t have a
